Queen Anne Period Walnut Burl Pedestal Dining Table

A QUEEN ANNE PERIOD WALNUT BURL PEDESTAL DINING TABLE circa 1710

Designed by Gary Armstrong, this piece is made from solid Oak and English Walnut. The table stands on turned bulbous columns and plain carved cabriole legs in English walnut. The dorsal surface and ovolo table edge have been veneered in finely figured Walnut Burl and finished with a crossband of quarter sawn Walnut and herringbone inlay. The table contains two secret compartments for valuables known to the client only.
